She attended Washington State University for both her undergraduate and Doctorate degrees and practiced in California as a dairy and small animal veterinarian for three years after graduating. Dr. Olson is passionate about dermatology, preventative medicine, and building lifelong relationships with animals and their families. She also loves working with livestock including sheep, goats, and cattle. Her posse includes an Australian Shepherd named Miles, a tripod cattle dog named Mercy, Oakie the cat, her horse Lakota, and a Jersey cow named Cami. Aries

Clinic Cat

Aries was surrendered to our care in 2017 for ongoing management of some urinary issues. It was meant to be a temporary situation but he became such a staple in our office that we quickly decided to make him a permanent AVH family member. You’ll often times find him sleeping in one of the waiting room chairs, more than willing to tolerate kids playing doctor on him. He also has become quite the trickster that likes to dart out the door to see how long it will take someone to come get him.
